One acre of grape vines produces between 5 and 10 tons of grapes. A ton of grapes can produce 720 bottles of wine or about 60 cases. One barrel of wine makes about 240 bottles of wine or about 20 cases. One vine annually produces about 4 to 6 bottles of wine. Each bottle of wine contains about 600 to 800 grapes and each glass of wine contains a little over half a pound.
